Have you ever wondered what happens at night in a zoo? Here is your chance to find out at Discovery Wildlife Park.
Stay overnight and listen to the night sounds while you are snug in your camper, tent, or one of our cozy cabins.
Our campground in Innisfail has 63 powered sites that are wrapped around our stocked rainbow trout pond! Yes, you may also fish while you camp here! Packages are available for camping and admission to the Park, plus the Evening Animal Experiences can be added to make your stay even more memorable! Rates start at just $35/night. No open fires are allowed – propane fire pits are acceptable. You may rent one for $10/night and a propane tank for $15 (runs about 7 hours on one tank) Call for more information 403-896-3272.

Book one of our Evening Experiences with the animals to create an outstanding evening for your family. Limited spaces – first come first serve. Must book a minimum of two people per encounter.
These encounters MUST be booked IN ADVANCE! Evening encounters are not available on Tuesday evenings or after September Labour Day weekend.
Behind the Scenes Cat Tour $20/person
A 15 minute behind the scenes experience learning about our big cats with a zookeeper. A great opportunity for taking once in a lifetime photos of them, as you can put your camera right up to the fence. Children 2 and under must be held at all times.
Walk with the Wolves $50/person
Walk with Nissa our timber wolf for 15 minutes. For this encounter all children under the age of 18 must be a minimum of 52″ tall. They will be measured upon arrival. If they are not tall enough you will not receive a refund. All children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult. You must be able to walk for 15 minutes unassisted. No wheelchairs, walkers, or canes permitted. Remember your camera to capture your experience.
Small Wolf – Big Opportunity! $75/person
Highlander and Sassenach are ready to take their first big steps! Make sure you don’t miss this opportunity to take those steps with them. Minimum 2 people – must be 12 years old or 6 accompanied by an adult. Don’t forget to bring your camera to capture all the cuteness!
Bear Encounter $50/person
Spend 15 minutes interacting with one of our resident bear family members. There is no touching the bears. Must be at least 12 years of age for this encounter. Remember to bring your camera to capture your entire experience.
Up Close Bear Encounter $150/person
Spend 30 minutes interacting with multiple members of our bear family. There is no touching the bears. Must be at least 12 years of age for this encounter. So many great photo opportunities, be sure to bring your camera.
Visit with the Serval cats $20/person
Get up close and learn about these amazing African cats. This encounter includes feeding through the fence. There is no touching the cats or their enclosure. Children 2 and under must be held at all times.
Visit with the Camels $20/person
Get to know our goofy camels, feed them some treats, and maybe enjoy some camel affection. This is also a great photo opportunity with the camels. Children 2 and under must be held at all times.
Visit with the Raccoons $20/person
Meet our raccoons and learn some amazing facts while sharing some treats that the zookeepers bring for them. This is also a great opportunity to take photos of them. There is no touching the raccoons or their enclosure. Children 2 and under must be held at all times.
Bear Den Tours $20/person
Learn all about bear dens and hibernation while admiring some of the dens dug by our bears. For this encounter your must be physically able to walk on steep and uneven terrain unassisted. Proper footwear is required. This encounter will be cancelled if we do have rain, as it will be too slippery to walk. There is no animal in this tour. Must be at least 7 years of age. Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult.

Now you can store your RV at Discovery Campground! Storage is available from September to mid-April for the low cost of $100 for the season! Or for $150 you get winter storage plus 2 nights camping in our 2021 season.
