SCHOOL TRIPS
Unlike other zoos, Discovery Wildlife Park offers all school groups a one hour guided tour plus our unique daily animal presentations! Our personable keepers will customize your tour to meet your curriculum or provide a general information tour that is both educational and exciting for your students!
Meet our animal family up close and observe their natural behaviours – your guide will give vital information about the plight of each animal in the wild as well as the stories of how each animal came to our park. They are available to answer any questions as well.
School group rates start at $6 per person. You may bring bag lunches or have our concession provide you with a lunch package – check our Rates page for details and our Show page for show times.
PUBLIC EDUCATION
Education is our focus for all visitors to Discovery Wildlife Park! Learning about animals has never been so much fun! Bear Awareness programs, tiger and jaguar presentations, skunk races, camel rides – all these provide the opportunity to educate visitors on each species.
Excellent signage for each animal and interactive talks with our keepers also gives visitors the chance to learn and have their questions answered.
Visitors leave with a greater understanding and love of the animals that they met during their stay and a stronger appreciation of the fact that we all need to take a part in helping to preserve them and their natural habitats.
