DONATIONS - WOULD YOU LIKE TO HELP?
There are many ways to help Discovery Wildlife Park care for its animals! We have several sponsorship opportunities as well as donations for enrichment materials.
Here are some ideas:
TREE SPONSORSHIP
Sponsor the planting of a tree for $225. Dedicate a tree to a family member, organization or in your own name. We plant the tree, care for it and include a marker with your dedication message on it.
BENCH SPONSORSHIP
Benches are important for our visitors, allowing them to sit and observe the animals at their leisure. You may sponsor a bench for $500 and dedicate it as well. We build the bench, place it in the park at a convenient location and supply the plaque with your dedication message.
ARBOR SPONSORSHIP
Our arbor sponsorship is $1,000. We build it, erect it and provide the plaque with your dedication message.
GOLF CART AND WAGON SPONSORSHIP
Sponsor a golf cart for $1,500 and have your name prominently displayed on a cart.
Wagon sponsorships are $100 and will have a sign attached to the wagon recognizing your sponsorship.
DONATIONS
Any and all cash or material donations are always welcome! Different projects are always happening from building new exhibits to enrichment items for the animals. Our boomer balls were kindly funded by one of our visitors and were greatly appreciated by all the animals!
EXHIBIT SPONSORSHIP
You may sponsor any of the animal exhibits at the park. There are future projects to sponsor as well as the existing ones. Prices vary according to the exhibit. Talk to Doug or Debbi about sponsoring them..
SNOW MACAQUES
Our macaque family is in need of an upgraded facility, including a new indoor housing area. We anticipate getting started this year on the fundraising for this project – plans are in the preliminary stages at this time, but any funding or building material donations are welcome!
2010 PROJECTS
This year, we have two projects that we are hoping to complete and/or get started on.
BEAVER EXHIBIT – We have already raised around ½ of the funds for this project. We need to raise another $5,000 to complete it. This is our priority for this spring.
SNOW MACAQUE EXHIBIT - Our macaque exhibit needs to be rebuilt and expanded
to accommodate our little troop. We are in the design stage of this project and are
looking for input from our visitors financially as well as in material donations and volunteer time. This project will cover a couple of years before completion
